I am using Windows Media Player 10 and every Thursday night I am streaming to
listen to my moms program on a radio station and I will be listening and then
the windows media will close and keep trying to reconnect,  but cannot and I
miss much of her program.  Any ideas to help ...

I am trying to install WMP 11 after I completly removed WMP because of some
problems I was having. I thought the best way to fix it would be to start
over. Now when I run the install I get the message
"A required component is not available for download during Windows Media

Is anyone aware of a Duplicate finder in WMP? If there isn't one, could this
be a feature that would be considered for inclusion?

I have Windows Media Player 11 beta 1.  I have two problems but I think they
are related.  
Firstly when I tried streaming video from Yahoo Movies and Aol Movies I got
error messages.  I searched up what the error code was and it said a firewall

I am trying to sync to a MP3 thumb drive kind of device I bought on Ebay.  I
can sync all unprotected files but none of the protected ones.  Can anyone

I am using VB .net, and am using mediaplayer1.url = "filename". It
takes a long time to load the file. I am trying to load 10 to 20 WMV
files and them click on the name in the app and have it start playing.
I don't want to wait for it to "LOAD". If I open the stand alone WMP

All other forms of video work. Avi, mpg, etc.... but whenever i try to
play a dvd using WMP 10, it doesnt show a pic, but sound is present.
It's kinda strange cause when i open my other DVD player program to
play a dvd (PowerDVD for XP), it doesn't play them anymore either.

When I go to play a video that I downloaded, I only get sound no picture.
I've uninstalled windows media player and installed the lastest version and

when I set visualisation type "Album Art" under "Now Playing" window, all I
can get is an album cover (Folder.jpg), and that is fine.

When I attach a media player to a PC with WMP11 B2 installed, it MIGHT work.  
When it doesn't work it never will.  I can uninstall and reinstall WMP11 and
all of it's components and it still won't work.  If I roll back to WMP10 it
will work again.  Is there an update to UMDF or ...
