The idea is simply to cue up a url to play.  In wmp10 you could add a url to
the library and then to the now playing list.  But in wmp11 that doesn't
seem to be possible.

I tried to open an MP4 file on my neighbor's xp he computer. My neighbor has

I saw that WMP11 did not have Firefox/Mozilla listed as a system
compatibility, does that mean it won't work at all? On my previous computer,
I had WMP9 and there were no problems, does this mean I have to use IE for

Having a weird problem with WMP10.  I have a dual monitor setup and
yesterday WMP started displaying video files full screen on the second
monitor.  I have not changed any settings.
If i drag & drop MP onto the other screen it plays the file full screen on

Windows XP Pro.
After installing latest Windows Media Player update from MS site and
rebooting, the PC has windows XP logo on the screen, which disapears and
after that there wouldn't be any video at all. The screen remains blank

How do I change the name of an album in Media Library? In Windows Explorer the albums are corretly named. But in media library I have several named unknown album.

I just got a new sandisk player. On WMP it says the names of the
albums/artists, but it doesn't encode over to my player. All the songs on the
player come up as unknown artist/album, making searching the songs difficult.
