I've installed WMP several times now. I've tried 9, 10, and now 11. When I
try opening a video on my computer, I used to get an unknow error, now I
don't get anything. (I should note, my computer crashed a few years ago and
WMP hasn't worked since).

I Just installed URGE Store in my WMP11 and when i signed in with my account
to download music i get this error messae:" Your Windows Media DRM is
corrupted. the DRM security system on this PC is in a corrupted state. please
contact an URGE or Microsoft Representative for help."

After opening a few video files (wmv & mpeg files, not rar or divx), both wmp
v.9 & 10 freeze & won't open another file, the message being 'program not
responding.' Computer must be re-booted & then it opens files again for

I'm just wondering how do publishers tell clients to download the
required plugins. Is it that microsoft maintains a central repository
for all sort of plugins? I've found this quite often while playing
