Does anybody have problems to play ripped mp3's from windows mediaplayer 10?
I'm receiving the message:
Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the
file tupe or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.

I use windows vista rc2 with windows media player 11.
My system: Celeron D 2x 2.6gig processor, nvidia videocard 512MB PCIE, 1gig

OKAY... now that that's out of the way...let me explain
I am a music producer with a VERY organized music library...that is, until
Media Player 10...even worse in 11...

I dont know why but all of a sudden my windows media player its not playing
my song anymore and i have tried everything but i cant fix the problem
yet.....

How can I play recorded tv from my Media Center computer across my home
network on Media Player 9 (Win98 SE)? Do I need an add-on codec? Is such a
codec available.
Or do I need to toss my kid's computer and purchase a new XP machine?

I have the problem on vers. 11 that after say 1 minute 25 seconds it just
terminates and leaves the media player. What can I do???

My digitial audio player supports the 96 bit rate and and like the audio
quality/file size it provides. MWP 11 does not provide an option to convert
my mp3 files to the 96, I can only convert to 64 (the audio quality is too
poor) or 128. I know that 128 compaired to 96 is not ...

I'm using Windows Media Player Ver. 10.00.00 3636 running on Windows XP
professional 2002 Service Pack 2 and when I try to view a webcast only the
video portion displays on my Sony projector (model VPL-CX75) not the entire
webcast including slideshows. Any thoughts?

I am trying to play some mpeg 3 formatted sound files and everytime i try to
open up one I get the message that it is not a valid win32 application.  I
have tried all the online help information I could find and made several
changes but nothing has helped.

every time I open a movie file with Win Media Player 10 the "Open with" box
pops up and I have to click YES to say use Windows Media Player to view even
though I have done File Types in Tools/Options and also in "Open with" I have
clicked "Always use the selected program"... any ...

After adding artwork to about 50 of my songs the function simply stopped
working. It will add/update the year, genre, etc, but just will not
add/update the artwork any more. I did not change any settings, it simply
doesn't want to do it anymore. Any ideas?
