I'm watching a tv channel with WMP and I can't listen anything, although I
can perfectly see the images.
What can I do?
I am using version 10.00.00.36.46, Windows XP.

My attempt to download media player to my grandson's computer comes back with
"this version of windows media is incompatible with this version of windows.  
He is running xp professional and i tried to download both media player 10
and 11.  what's wrong?

I am running WMP11 with XP Home and can play music and hear the soundtracks
of any .avi or .mpg or .wmv files but the screen during video playback is a
purple block of colour.  The same thing happened with WMP10.  From time to
time for some reason I can view videos for about 2 ...

Ever since installing WMP 11 I have lost the ability to hear sound form
videos playing in IE. I have tried rolling back to WMP 10 but it will not let
me do this either, if you have any suggested how to fix this problem I would
appreciate the help as I ma getting very frustrated.

quick question:
I do not understand the concept of Media Connect being integrated into WMP11.
On my private Computer at home I have WMC2 installed and it worked fine.

I have tried to use windows media player to prep videos for streaming but
each time I get to the select a file to encode the program, picturegallery
trys to launch.  Can anyone give me an idea of what to do?

the following happens when try to change song info in library in "unknown
album - unknown artist - unknown year" (usually in the end) w/o using advance
tag editor.
When I try to change the song name (remove artist that usually appears in
WMP11 downloads album art despite do not update informations from11 Oct 2006 23:31 GMT1
I have unchecked the item under library option retrieve additional
information from the internet.  
I have tagged all of my MP3 files and I don't want album art downloaded into
the music collection,  each file wastes space - and in a large collection

I can not a support group for MSN Soapbox Beta but maybe someone can help.
The videos are not playing in the Soapbox Player. I have audio but no video.
I have XP on my notebook, also running I.E.6 and they play fine.
Any suggestions?
WMP10 freezes after 1 - 2 minutes on some video files11 Oct 2006 14:45 GMT2
In WMP 10 I have some 12 - 15 minute video files that stop played after about
1 1/2 minutes.  Different files say 1:32 another says 1:58 yet they're all
over 10 minutes long.  If I jump to the middle of the file it plays from that
part to the end of the 1:30 and freezes there.  ...
