Videos aapear dark as playback begins. As playback progresses the videos
suddenly brighten to the way they are supposed to be. I am running version
10.00.00.4036. Any ideas why this may be happening?

when i play an m3u file from the web, the player does not play the latest
version-- it keeps playing the old version of the file.
even if i click "Clear List" on the play list, close the player, clear my
browser cache, and refresh the page.

Yes i was trying to sync my Dell Digtal device. It is a Digtal Jukebox. The
version is 1.20.03 rev Ao7 When i go to connect the device using WMP 11 Beta
2 it gives me the following message: Your device is using an outdated driver
that is no longer supported by Windows Media ...

Similar to question regarding total time on playlist. Where is the summary
information that included total size and time, that was available in 10?

WMP will happily play all music files, and will open with no problem, however
as soon as I attempt to get it to play a video file (mostly avi's if it
matters) it errors and closes. In addition, when I open a folder containing

Windows XP Media Player 10.
I am trying to play a home movie of a cousin's wedding.  There is no
copyright at all, no protection whatsoever.  I can play the VOB's just
fine on my Linux machine and with Nero on XP.

i remember installing K-Lite codec pack to watch a certain .avi file that
Windows Media Player won't play. since then, i noticed skips whenever i
played a .mp3 file in my Windows Media Player. when i checked my CPU usage,

Somehow WMP 11 dissappeared off my computer.  When I installed Beta 2
(originally I only had Beta 1) and imported all my music back into the
player, the playlists I had previously saved did not import into the playlist
list.  

I was burning music files to disc - interupted the process and left 'files
waiting to be burned to cd'  all MP3 music files.
I later ran Window Washer and saw it clean 'Windows CD Burning Storage
Folder' and could not stop it.

When I try to play live video I get an error message in that reads no
Internet session has been established does any one know how to correct this

Can anyone tell me why:
In WMP 10, When in the Library you could drop down the Library options menu
and choose whether or not you wanted WMP to:
-Add music to playlist on double click

While installing Windows Media Player 10 or 11 the message " Windows Media
Configuration Utility has encountered an error and needs to close" appears. I
have rolled back to WMP 9 and that is exacly the same. Any ideas????

I view my library as a list of Album Artists. This is fine using Artist View.
I click on an Artist and I would like to see a list of their Albums.
At this point WMP 11 shows all the tracks as well, and this 'title' column
cannot be removed from the view. With Artists with many ...

So I have a server from which I am successfully sharing my media via WMP11
beta2 to my Xbox 360. That works perfectly. Now I tried installing WMP11
beta2 on my XP installation on my laptop, but my share from the server never
shows up and on my server I never get the prompt asking ...

when I put a mp3 cd, the wmp11 plays ok, but in the List Pane of "Now
Playing" panel just appears the artists names, not the tracks....
