Is there a way to use the latest version of LAME MP3 codec (3.97) with
WMP 11 B2 for ripping MP3 files?

When I right click a Movie Clip file my whole screen goes black for a second
then goes back to normal with the right clicked list opened, why would my
screen do this???????????? does it happen to anyone else?????????? (Windows
Media Player version 10)

I must be having a brain f*rt -- anyone see why, in the code below, the
first embeded wmp works and the second doesn't?  The player shows up
but I'm getting an eror "The URL contains a path that is not valid." in
the javascript-generated player, but it's fine in the straight html.

I'm new to using wmp to "organize" my files.  I actually have a VERY
extensive folder structure already set up on my computer (complete with a
hodge podge of file names/types).  It's very organized as far as the manual
folder structure I already have (maybe 6,000 files) -- but ...

I'm trying to rip a cd to my mp3 player using windows media player but the cd
is a mix and i cant get the tracks to merge as one ?

Can Media Player or anything in WinXP convert a WAV file to MP3 or WMA?

Several attempts to download and install WMP10 over WMP8 have failed.  
Attemps to restore WMP8 from the system restore failed. Currently no WMP.

I've ditched the iPod and want to do the same with iTunes. I have a
large number of audio books that I used iTunes to import. Some are in
MPEG 4 format and a few I had altered to AAC. I see WMP isn't
recognizing those files even when I point to them.

ok here's my problem, i use Xp-home as a os,  i m not able to play audio cd's in media player ( 9 series). I ve checked all protocolls  enabled ext to be opened by wmp and i dont use proxy. i ve checked several solutions such as reinstallment of media player and other stuff ...

Hi, i have downloaded some tv shows from isohunt, i open them with my media
player but it says at the bottom connecting with server, requesting codec ect
then it says error loading codec and it will only play the audio???!!!!!
Please please please will someone tell why this is and ...

Does anybody know how to play x-msvideo formats.Have tried different codecs

Before installing WMP10 security update KB911565 AVI playback resolution and
color were normal.  After installing the security update the playback is in
black & white with occasional color distortion splotches.  Any fixes?

I see media player 10 and 11 do not allow this.  When I decided to return to
media player 9 it says on the download page it is not supported on windows
xp.  So, if I am running xp I cannot return to version 9?  The nero plug-in
will not work on version 10 or 11?  Is there any way ...
