My pc showed this Error message text: "Unable to install Window Media Player
10. To update windows, please run Window Media Player 10 again." When I tried
to run setup again, it was the same error message. What is wrong? How can i
install WMP 10?

Been using iTunes since version 1 for the Mac, and with version 7 apple have
made a cock-up and it's now dire.
So what a great time for Microsoft to be releasing version 11 of windows
media player. Last time I used this, it came with Windows 95 and played

Been using the WMP 11 beta ever since it came out and I always have this
problem with the Advanced Tag Editor. I tried changing multiple numbers of
mp3s for the album title, song numbers and ect but they still retain their
old info. Only thing that usually change are their genre, ...

I'm trying to make my own CD, and as it is starting the process of burning by
inspecting, it will not finish. The Player doesn't give me any error
messages, it just stops burning.  Any ideas?  (Version 10.00.00.4036)

Using WMP10 and I've got loads of music I want to rip to my PC.  When
selecting 'Find Album Info' the following message appears:
'You must change your Privacy setting in Tools, Options to update
information about the audio medis you have selected.'

Where does media player save information about play counts/auto ratings and
date added to library, it would be good if you could back up this
information, reinstall media player, add the media again and then replace

I just moved my Windows taskbar from the bottom of the screen to its left
hand side. Now the wmp has been rotated 90 degrees.
This of course makes sense, but if you make the taskbar a couple of inches

Why is it not possible to right click on one or multiple entries, then edit

i have wmp 11 and every time i try to view a video i have in my library it
plays but i cant fast foward. if i try to do so it will start from the
begining again.

Have computer my connected to TV (TVout) Media player appears on tv but the
video screen is blank, but is not blank on computer monitor sound is normal
on both?  I have media center computer and record and watch Tv on with out

i've used this burner for every, today it prepares for burning,(only shows 10
mins. till burn is complete) then it only burns the first song and kicks the
cd out. i've tried everything,any ideas??

I've been having problems with streaming video playback for a while
now. The problem occurs with .asx files, I get sound & vision but at
half speed. All the settings have been checked, I have the latest
software but still it doesn't play as it should. If I open the same
