Whenever I try to play an MPEG-1 encoded file in Media Player 10, I get
the C00D11CD: Unknown error.  I tried using mplayer2 with no success.
I have also uninstalled MP10, reinstalled it, reinstalled DirectX 9.0c
drivers, and even restored the quartz.dll file used to decode MPEG

I can't burn any cd because I have an error message saying "Interface is not
registered" what does that mean. What can I do?

I would like to see the total playlist time under the playlist on the Now
Playing screen, just like in WMP10, but I can not make it happen in WMP11b2.
The only way (I know) to see the total playlist time is to go to the
Library, then to the Now Playing item, where I have to ...

I cannot rip mp3's from a cd at 128Kbps using wmp 11. If I try it just sits
there and does nothing. Change to 192Kbps and it rips to mp3 fine. Is this a
known issue? Any ideas?

It seems like, after some period of time being minimized, or after some
action that I don't know about, the miniplayer stops responding to
mouseovers by showing the details about the current track. If I maximize
and re-minimize, I get the mouseover functionality back...until ...

I have just installed Windows Vista Beta2 with a Intel desktop board.  I am
using a SoundMAX analogue controller.  I can hear sound in windows but not
when I try to play a sound file in WMP 11 it says it is playing but I can
hear no sound and the seek bar is not moving.

What, if any plans, does Microsoft have with WMP11 and Windows Server (2003
and next)?  I play my music from an otherwise under utilized Windows Server
2003 box but cannot do so with music purchased with WMP11 and its DRM
