Any video clip played is so dim as to be un-viewable!  I've tried
uninstalling/reinstalling, etc.

Its coming very soon. I cant wait. I hope it is everything I expect. I dont
like being let down, but I have a feeling I will be. Like with IE7. I love it
and all, but the official version did not fix the only bug I found in IE7

I have just upgraded to the v11 Beta.  So far, I like the changes that have
been made.  I particularly like the format in which the artits/albums info is
displayed in the library.  
Currently, albums are listed alphabetically within each artit's "folder".  I

for some reason, whenever i play a movie/video, and try to put it in the
miniplayer with the windows media player toolbar enabled, i cannot open the
video and visualization window, and i can't stop, pause, or rewind anything,
the buttons are faded out... what is wrong?

I use the Exact Audio Copy application to rip my mp3 files.  When I synch
with my Toshiba player, all of the files need to be converted.  There is no
ability to defeat the conversion with WMP 11 Beta 2.    These files are not
outside of the limitations of the Toshiba Gigabeat ...

Can any one help I have a real mess in my libary some 85gb of music but have
same track somtimes up tp 5 times each. What I want to know is there some
quick way of fixing this so I can get some order back in my libary....

Is there a way to make/save my playlist so that each day when turned on, it
starts off at the point in the playlist it stopped at the previous day? I
have ~30 gig of music and would like it to clcle through, song by song,
untill I have heard them all.

Quick question, does WMP 11 recognize Ipod?  I have an ipod and would love to
synch it with my media player library as I hate itunes with a passion and
would like to maintain my playlists, etc that I have on WMP 11.  Any

Hi - Windows Media Player 10 is installed on XP Pro SP2 (Retail).  All of a
sudden, when I play videos, I get a pop up that says Active Movie Window
instead of the video simply playing in WMP.  Here's a screenshot:

Thanks everyone for your responses so far. As stated, I can't play an mpeg or
a dvd. Soemone gave me a lead to dec check, but it's for windows xp. I can't
find one for windows 2000.

I recently bought a DVD encoder through Sonics. I still cannot play DVDs. I
spoke to Sonics, they said the software was just (I think the phrase was
'clip on') to The windows media player and I should refer the problem to them.
Any help would be appreciated.
