I just got a new PC with WMP 10.0 and now all my music and voicemail messages
play back at double-speed and sound like the Chipmunks.  When I checked the
playback settings, they were set to normal.  I thought maybe changing it to
Slow would make the files play back normally, but ...

Hi ... It seem that my wmp got corrupted , When I try to load the player ?
All I can see is it being on the taskbar and if I click on the taskbar where
wmp is ? It shooting the player off my screen towards the top right area, Its
not on my monitor  , If I keep clicking this spot ...

Hi, I'm having problem opening an playlist with nested asx on an embedded WMP
11.  I can open it fine on a standalone player but I'm getting a warning box
when trying an embedded player, saying that the file type does not match the
file or something.  Is there anyone who's ...

Is there a way to transfer my song ratings to my iPod so that the only thing
being transfered is the ratings? I don't want any songs being put from my
computer to my iPod, just the ratings, because it's way easier to do it on
WMP then on the iPod itself.

i installed media player 11 to try it out. i definately do not like it at
all. i have removed all the bits of 11 as per the instructions in the readme
file. but when i go to re-install media 10 it says it wont install because a
newer version is already installed. any ideas?

MusicMatch is no longer listed in the supported stores for WMP11. Are there
plans to add this back in? Is there anyway to play MusicMatch purchases in
WMP11?

I have WMP version 9, and have SP2, and when i follow media player's
instructions to click the taskbar and look for WMP under toolbars to enable
mini mode, i find that i cannot see it. All that is under toolbars are items
such as address, links, desktop, quicklaunch etc.

Every time I try to rollback from WMP 11 to 10 i get the following
message:It is not possible to uninstall Windows Media Player 11 because
folders that are required for the uninstall have
already been deleted.

I get an error message when trying to upgrade from WMP10 to 11, saying that I
have an unsupported operating system. This despite MS saying on the WMP site
that ALL versions of XP are supported.... I'm running MCE2004, not 2005 which
it says I need - and obviously can't upgrade to ...

My computer refsuses to allow installation of Media Player 10 (or Version 9).
AFter downloading and starting the installation it stops and comes up with an
error saying that the version is incompatible.
I am running Windows XP Pro (SP2 updated).

Hi together,
after upgrading from WMP10 to WMP11 German version, I cannot activate any
visualizations.
Although it is able to choose them, they do not start on the display.

I wonder if you can help?
