Long time since I've posted. Question: I just upgraded from a perfectly
working WMP 10 to WMP 11 by going on microsoft website and actually
downloading the installation file for WMP11. I installed and restarted, but

I get my voice mail via email as "message.wav"
I cannot get Windows Media Player to work.
Any ideas...

i use a Zen Touch (latest FW) since WMP10.
After installing wmp11 final, wmp does not recognize the player anymore. If
i plug in the player to usb, wmp11 shows on the lower right side the internal
name "myzentouch" for a short time, but nothing else happens.

Ive got two monitors setup and when i have teh media player on one full
screen and i use the other monitor to browse web and such it alwasy goes back
to normal size and wont stay full screen WMP 10 didnt have this problem ive
checked keep WMP on top of other windows but it still ...

I installed Microsoft Windows Media Player 10 on a system that is
accessed by both an administrative level user and a standard user.  The
previous version of Windows Media Player that was installed on the
system was Microsoft Windows Media Player 9.

WMP 10 (and, AFAIK, all earlier WMP's) always displayed the time
elapsed/remaining/etc. in the bottom of the player.  So I always left a
sliver of real estate just above my taskbar at the bottom of the
screen, so the time display could peek through.

I have installed the english one but to dowload some video in France i need
to add sorme french module and I don't know how.

In WMP 10 it was able to remember the now playlist that you were playing when
you exited the program. When you restarted it this playlist was reloaded into
the Now Playlist and had the last song that was being played selected. WMP 11
doesn't seem to be able to do this. Is there a ...

I was sync ing music to my MP3 when I see this button up in the right hand
corner that says 'format storage media' so curiosity killed me and I clicked
it. Resulting in everything on my device being deleted and now my windows
media player is sync ing everything on my computer ...

I display "Library", click "Rating" and drag a specific Rating to the Play
list section on the right side of the screen.  This populates the list with
the songs with the appropriate rating.  One of the songs in the list starts
playing and a cover and song title shows at the top ...

Every time I try to burn a CD, I get a message that says insert a blank cd
into the dirve.  I insert a good blank CD into the drive and still keep
gitting the number.  A couple of months ago I was able to burn the CDs with
no problem.

I'm using WMP11, and I find that Album art usually won't download using "Find
Album Info"- everything else gets updated, just not the album art.  I'd say
the art is only downloading about 15% of the time.  In the FAQ's I saw that

I really want to chuck out my iPod and ditch iTunes altogether, so I was
hoping that WMP11 would be a good substitute and I can go and get a different
MP3 player.

Why would WMP be able to open a Quicktime file with an mpg extension?

1) In Final Cut Pro, we export a Quicktime MOV file.
2) Transfer the file to an XP computer.
