When we click any .MP3 link in web pages it starts downloading it instead
playing it instantlt in Windows Media Player 11.
I am  using IE 7 (Vista) with Windows Media Player 11.
It works fine for windows player 10 and older version.

I would like to transfer songs from the Media Player Library to my Sony mini

How do I do it....???

OK when I play music on my media player the song starts but i am unable to
hear the song playing. This goes for all the songs on my computer. In order
to hear the sound I have to press the  volume button, for each song I hav eto

does anybody know how to disable the creation of the sample music and sample
video shortcuts during the creation of a new user profile. We don't have
roaming profiles and the profile is created each time a user logs in. And
each time a new profile is created a new "sample music ...

Hello everyone; im not sure if someone has posted this or not, but here i go.
I have an album with 12 or 13 songs, each by a different artist.  When i
sort the library by albums, i have 12 icons for the album, each for the
different artist.  Is there anything I can do for this?

I like the new WMP 11. Is there any way to change the data provider from
metaservices to gracenote CDDB?

WMP 11 continues to play when it is closed without first stopping.  The WMP
10 installation on the same computer did not have this problem.  Ideas?

I was playing me standard playlist on my Media Center PC (2005 MCE) last
night and I received a pop-up saying that MCE lost connection to my remote
database.  Don't know what that's about because the Media Player DB is stored
locally.  Anyway, I noticed in the Media Player folder ...

When I open my email that is suppose to have sound there is none. Do I have
incorrect settings somewhere ? Anyone have any ideas why this happens. I have
IE7 if that matters.

I really love the new WMP11... but it's really upsetting that it's missing
the following things:
- Library - you can't sort by Artist Name AND Album Title together (at least
I don't think you can... by default it should sort by Artist Name, and then

I can see the .JPG files as thumbs in WMP 11, if you open the to enlarge they
are badly distorted in aspect ratio.  I cannot find how to change.  Also the
menu has "Keywords" for pictures.  Can they be added in WMP11?
