When I double click on a track at the library a different one plays.   I need
to go to the playlilst to select the right one.

If i put a DVD in the drive, autoplay gives me option to play via media
player, power dvd. Whatever player i then try to play it through, it just
says 'loading media' forever, and never plays the dvd. I have dvd decoder
(power dvd) and this has only just started happening.

I am asked to restart my computer and run set up again but this goes over and
over again without getting to WMP11.  Do you have any ideas how to fix it?

Installed WMP 11 beta, BUT double click on the icon cause nothing. I
re-installed and again installed and same problem!!!

I'd be interested in hearing how people have best been able to use WMP
to centrally store files for use in a home network (and beyond).  I run
an SBS network at home and have 7 computers connected, three of which
are laptops, all of which run Windows XP.  Currently I use only one

Everytime I launch WMP11 I get the "Get connected" Dialog Box and I have to
cancel it.
I do not have a device to sync.    How can I turn this notificaton off?

I recently added a new harddisk and moved all my musics into this new drive.
Now, since my library is still using the old file path, I got the file
missing error. So, how do I change the file path for all musics apart from
creating a new library? All my playlists are now unusable ...

I changed the title of my WMA collection from Chinese to English in
Explorer. But every time I press update Album Info, all my WMA
collection are reverted back to the original state. Is there a way to
make this permanent?

suddenly i appear only to be able to search for media types- not audio files.
am totally confused. eg. in search bar i type 'madonna' and it comes up with
internet pages realting to madonna- whereas i would like to listen to her
songs.

(WMP 11) Some instances when I've found the cover artwork for an album and
pasted it onto the tile, the new art gets copied onto another 'blank' tile
too. Seems to be just for the affected artist/group.

I installed Media Player 11 about an hour ago.  It seemed to take quite a
while to do it but I did get the "installation successful" window.  Then I
followed the instruction to restart the computer.  When the computer came
back up, it went directly to a Windows blue screen, and ...

I am able to play music in WMP and other media sources, but every song sounds
like the Chipmunks are singing.  I'm not sure as to how to slow the speed to
make the songs sound normal again.  Would love suggestions.  Please help!!

Just installed WMP 11 and tried to find album information for a Warner
Special Products CD and the player won't connect to the internet. All other
internet entry points are fine. REFRESHING doesn't work.

Having a weird problem with WMP 10. I suddenly can't see or hear anything
when playing files. DVDs are okay, but when trying to play individual files
(*.wmv, *asf, *.mpe), the file loads and plays, but there is now sound or
video. It worked before and I can't think of anything ...

Ok I give up, spent hours trying to fix this error. at the point of
almost trying to reinstall everything.
