White pixels in corners of new WMP11 skin02 Nov 2006 01:21 GMT4
Anyone else got horrible white bits in the corners of WMP11 like this, and
anyone know how to remove them
Btw, if I resize the WMP window both ways, they disappear. However when WMP
is closed/opened again they're back.

Media Player 10 started acting weird.
I figured out that when I click on a song or a movie that I can hear the
sound but the player does not register in the windows task manager under
"Applications". It only shows up under wmplayer.exe under "Processes".
Restoring/Importing Licence Backup from WMP10 into WMP1102 Nov 2006 00:37 GMT1
I have just upgraded to WMP11 and have tried to play one of the tracks that I
have previously ripped and I get taken to the Download Licence web page... I
backed up all my ripped music licences quite a while ago, and hadn't actually
restored them in the version of WMP10 that I've ...

WMP 11 with Offline Files02 Nov 2006 00:08 GMT1
Has anyone had any issues with offline files after installing the WMP 11
update?  When I ran the beta my laptop users were suddenly unable to access
network resources on the network and had offline files that could not be
accessed when out of the office.
WMP11 Final - Bugs02 Nov 2006 00:05 GMT13
Some bugs I've found in the final version of WMP11, I'm not sure if there
will be a refresh down the line or not, though:
1: When in the Library, searching with the type: syntax and trying to play
the results by double clicking or using the play button will not work.
Can't play AVI file01 Nov 2006 23:26 GMT2
When I try to play an AVI file, my WMP gives an error message and asks me to
send an error report to Microsoft and then closes itself.
I'm certain it is not a codec problem, because previously I have been able
to play the same files just fine. I have been installing a few ...
WMP11Beta2 Volume Leveling for MP301 Nov 2006 23:17 GMT6
I haven't been able to get this to work at all, I've tried using the "Add
volume leveling values for all files" option in "Add to Library", but nothing
happens.
I don't even remember adding VL information in WMP10, and it worked fine in
error message01 Nov 2006 23:09 GMT1
When I try to open attachments in some of my e-mails, it goes to the media
player and and error message comes up that says WMP cannot play this file.
The player might  not support the codec that was used to compress the file.

counting in library bigger then 5000 items01 Nov 2006 22:44 GMT1
In my medialibrary there is around 6500 songs. But when I open wmp and go to
the library and click crlt+a I shows me that I have exactly 5000 items. But
if I scoll down long down, the "scroll-marker" jumps a litle up and if I then
mark everyone it shows the right number.
WMP 11 video thumbnails SLOW !?01 Nov 2006 22:09 GMT1
When I select all video and change the View Options to icons or tile,
I notice the new feature that shows a small thumbnail of the video
file from the first frame or so (I assume).
However, it takes 100% CPU every time I move the cursor to browse
Burning MP3 Data onto DVD01 Nov 2006 22:04 GMT1
I just installed MP11 and am generally happy with the program.
I am trying to burn an MP3 Data disk but onto a DVD (instead of a CDR). But
when I make a burn list (in the right-hand column) there are divisions where
a new disk will be required as though I am using a CDR not a DVD. ...
WMP11 & Windows Mobile Smartphone Sync...?01 Nov 2006 21:11 GMT1
2 betas's ago, WMP11 would sync with my device, but overstated the used space
on my microSD card.  The last beta, it worked great -- reported the available
space correctly.  With the final release, only my main memory is shown -- the
microSD card is no longer detected at all.  ...
