Just updated to wmp 11 from 10.  First problem is it does not recognise
blank cd's in either of my burners.
Is this a known problem?

I have had a problem since Media Player 10, but after upgrading to v11 I
still have a problem with Media Player. I hoped that the problem might
disappear once upgrading, but alas it did not!

Been playing with WMP11 on XP for a while and now onto Vista RTM:
1) No support for multiple audio streams in an AVI, it just plays them all

As you can guess, I'm just as dissatisfied as most of you are with the new
MP. I want to roll back to my previous version and have gone through the

so im having this annoying problem, whenever i move the
slider, the volume goes to 'full-volume' even if its on

In the old version of WMP, the library had all the artists listed multiple
times, with every song showing. I want that back. In WMP 11, all it shows is
just the artist name, and then you have to click the name and then find the
song because they're all sorted into albums! I don't ...

have just upgraded to v.10 and now, when I see an mpeg movie online, and I
click the link to open and run same...
WMP opens, I see the first frame ONLY, and the sound track plays fine but

how can i convert a "Windows media file or audio file" into a "video clip"
file? So i can open the video in other programs ex. Quick Time.

Facts: i have many muusic cd on my hard disk wich i copied from original cd ,
files types are wma and mp3, they were originally compressed on my old laptop
and everything was working fine with WMP 10.
2/ i recently transfered my data to a new laptop via an external  drive,

When trying to play something off the internet I get error code COOD1085.  
Can anyone help out on what is causing this. (WMP 10)

I somehow lost the song list that displays along the right of the screen when
playing a CD.  I have went into every menu and option and cannot figure out
how to turn it back on.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've just updated from WMP 9 to WMP 11 and the extremely useful Info Center
view (together with album, artist and discography information) has
disappeared. Is this intentional or is there an easy way of getting this
service back?

Player 10 displayed my Ukrainian album contents in Ukrainian.  Since updating
to version 11, it only displays ascii characters.
How do I set the library pane to display Ukrainian language characters?

Problem:  After installing WMP11, all videos are now too dark, colors are
all f.cked up, and adjusting video controls does no good.
Solution:  Turn off overlays
How?:  Open Windows Media Player, right click on the title bar, select
