Every time i try to sync a music video to my mp3 player, i cant because it
says, "Your device requires that this file be converted in order to play on
the device. However, the device either does not support playing video, or
Windows Media Player cannot convert the file to a video ...

I currently have windows media player 7.1 installed (yes I know its outdated,
however I don't have administrative rights to upgrade).  After one song is
played, the player stops, and has to be restarted before being able to play
something else.  Any ideas what might be the issue?

Just loaded WMP 11 and although thumbnails look great, digital pictures are
totally distorted.  These are all jpg's (rather large ones mind you) that
happen to look great everywhere else; i.e., Media Player, MS Picture Viewer,
etc.  What gives?  How to patch up this problem?

I've started to rip my dvd collection and I'd like to rip to .vob due to the
high quality of video.
But for some reason wmp won't play my vob files. I've installed the nvidia
pure video dodec and I also have Cyberlink PowerDVD that actually will play

I am using WMP9.0 under Windows 2000Pro.
When I loaded a MPG file into WMP, the system became very slow. (CPU 100%
when viewed by Task manager ). intermittently, some audio and 1 or 2 frames
of video were displayed. P'se advise what cause it?

I downloaded wmp 11, but when I use Firefox 2.0, I still have the original
wmp plugin and I would like to know how to put the wmp 11 plugin in there.

I have found that a number of tracks of music have the sound distorted quite
severely when played on WMP 11. The sound coming out of the speaker is as if
the volume is turned up too high. I can play these tracks on a number of
other media players and the sound is just great.

I have used WMP11 to add data to the columns in the library for Actors,
Studios, Genre, etc for all the videos in my library.  It has proven to be a
useful feature and I have gotten used to having that information available.  
That being said, I am going to do an OS reinstall soon ...

When i first downloaded Windows Media Player 11 i thought it was great, but
now it has buggered my 2 week old PC, it causes it to freeze after 5 to 10
