I thought I saw this mentioned lately but please do not shout if I have
missed it.  Trying to burn cd on wmp11 and get error message, "The file is
missing usage rights".
Anyone help pleae?

I added two tracks to an empty "Untitled Playlist", their individual
times were 2:33 and 5.26. The playlist said that the playing time was "7
minutes", but at 7:59 it is only one second short of 8 minutes.
Did it ignore the seconds in the calculation? Is there a mechanism for

i updated to a new version of WMP, and when i try to open it, it says to
restart my computer and log on as an administrator. I am the administrator
and its not lettin me open it, can someone please help me out? i have all my
musis stored in that. thankyou

How come in WMP v11 you cannot see how many songs are selected, how many
songs you have? There used to be a toolbar at the bottom of the player in
v10, but there isn't in v11. The WMP doesn't even display the size or length
of your current playlist.

Anyone know how to allow auto conversion at more than 192Kbps (for a Creative
Zen Vision:M which I know can handle 320KBPS wma) ? "Advanced options"
doesn't seem to allow me to manually set any higher level...

I have Windows Vista with Media Player 11, I find that when I try to play a
dvd I get this error message stating that my computer is running low on
memory but it dose not tell me how to resolve it can anyone help.
ps I have 1 gig of memory on my computer

Must I have WMPlayer running for other devices to see my shared media?  What
service is responsible for this?

After my upgrade to WM11, some of the CDs that I burned under an older
version of WM won't sync to my Creative MP3 player.  I get a sync error
message and it says that the grantor has not permitted me to sync however
when I go to the Media Rights Usage I get the green light:

I am curious about media player 11.  In media player 10 I could add URL's of
internet radio to my library and have it there. In microsoft genius these are
lost with the fantastic upgrade to media player 11.  After re-adding them to

I have installed WMP 11 and now I have a window popping up saying :
'Please wait while windows configures Urge'
The another one with
'Error 1324. The path Start menu contains an invalid character'

When I update album info for a selected song WMP11 takes a bunch of other
songs from my library and adds it to the album being editted and it also
changes the display name in the library.  Why is that and is there a way to
correct this?
