Cannot change one file in the Uknown Album section14 Jan 2007 05:27 GMT1
If your have a few songs that have unkown albums, WMA treats them all as the
same album, which means it impossible to just tag 5 or 6 of the same album.
This is the dumbest thing I have seen in a while, The only possible solution
is to delete every other song that your not trying ...

I am running XP/Media Player 11 on a Celeron 2.00 GHz, 736 MB of RAM.  When
ripping a CD to the Hardrive it takes over an hour to rip and you can't do
anything else on the computer as everything slows right down with it.  When I

I recently upgraded to WMP 11 and now every avi that I play in there is very
dark, and usually has a reddish tint to it. I tried playing the same file in

In Add / Remove Programs list, I've noticed two entries: "Windows Media
Format 11 Runtime" at 15.47MB and "Windows Media Player 11" also at 15.47MB.
Is this normal or has the installation gone wrong?

I have a laptop with a separate UltraBay drive on which I've placed all my
music (50G, around 1500 albums) with all the
metadata (song title/artist/composer/date, album art).

I have a Dell Inspiron 640m with Windows XP and get very poor quality when
playing music with Windows Media Player 11. However, the sound quality is
good when using Dell Media Direct, the DirectX test or the MPlayer2 test.
Any ideas?
