here is the issuse i got,  when i use my other palyers like VLC,MEdia
classic player and others i got. but with windows media when i play my dvds
it doesnt play back in wide screen, and i got a philips 20" wide screen TFT?
even i when i play in media center it plays in wide ...

I recently agreed on updating WMP and are now using WMP11 instead of 10.
However, I very much prefer WMP10. Now I am trying to install WMP10 back on
to my computer. MP10set.exe is installed but I receive the following error

Windows Media Player 9 runs ok when "stand alone". When called from a browser
(IE 6 or Firefox 2) the file or the stream isn't displayed. The content of
the player window is mixed up - play, pause and so on are on the top.
I tried to re- install the player - but no chance.

I find, that it is often difficult to describe an artist or even a single
song as belonging to a specific genre. To help me better organize my music,
it would be nice to be able to assign multiple genres to a song/artist. Then

if i watch a video in my admin user account in windows xp, and leave the
video in windows media player 11 library and playlist,will another user using
their  own windows xp user account(with admin priviliages) on the same
computer, be able to see my playlist and library?

In Mediaplayer 11, is there a way to automagically sync a particular

I have a Philips Streamium SLA5520 device connected to my PC with XP and WM11
using the WM11 media server. When I go on my network device through my music
library by Artist, I get a list of Albums of a selected Artist, next if I
select an Album, I get all songs of that album but ...

I am trying to sync with MMP 10 and the software says "No device has been
detected.  Press F5 to refresh the Player."  I keep doing this but it is
still not finding my player.  Any help would be great!!

I am having an almost unreal issue.
The player won't make a library, whether I manually drag, or make it play
(with auto-add on play) or have it monitor folders.  No library ever gets
established.
