Hello. Hoping for some help on this one.
I've been adding a few instructional music CDs to my library which don't
have any database info online and using the dialog box where you can enter

Retain list31 Jan 2007 00:33 GMT9
I use WMP by adding files directly from 'My Music'.
However when I close it after listening and re-open they are all gone and I
have to start again.
Is there a way to retain this list for 'next time'?

WMP won't actually exit when I close it.  Why?30 Jan 2007 21:35 GMT5
I will click the X or anything that in theory should close WMP11, but for
some reason now it will never actually close.  Music/DVD will keep playing,
but it is closed from the taskbar.  I have to kill off the process in the
device manager in order to close it.

'Windows Media Player has encountered a problem and needs to close.'
Sometimes followed by 'Windows Explorer has encountered etc.'
Error appears immediatly when trying to play mpeg files.

WMP 11 & Playlists30 Jan 2007 18:24 GMT1
I just downloaded WMP 11 and haven't had a great deal of time to tinker with
it.  The first thing I noticed was that I can't seem to find my playlists.
Does anyone know if there's somewhere they were stuffed or am I up the creek
and lost my playlists?

how do I get player 11 to do what player 10 does?30 Jan 2007 14:20 GMT16
I'm about to upgrade to windows media player 11 but there's one thing about
player 10 that I really like and that's the automatic playlists it creates
like "songs for weekends", "songs I've not listened to for a long time" or
whatever they are called - it does it without me ...
