gif animations will not play06 Jan 2007 21:02 GMT4
I am wondering if I am missing a codec for WMP. I have made animations in the
.gif file format, yet the WMP skips frames and doesn't loop the animation
even when specifically told to. 'Tis a shame that Apple's QuickTime displays
the gif better than WMP, when the animation has ...

WMP 11 repair ("out of memory)"...06 Jan 2007 10:18 GMT1
Appears that the "Windows is out of memory" error when attempting to
play a DVD is a corruption within WMP 11.  When used with Media Center
the error is to the effect "video decompressor" missing.
Works just fine in XP with WMP 10, (another drive on the same system).

Can WMP11 burn MP3 to CD?06 Jan 2007 00:12 GMT10
My car audio system will decode MP3 files, but it will not decode WMA files.
WMP11 has an excellent feature that allows you burn tracks to CD using a
lower bit rate - WMP11 does the conversion on the fly.
While my entire library has been ripped in 320Kbps MP3 format, WMP11 insists ...
