We just encoded a video to winmedia 9 codec.  Recently on one of our
playback machines it was Window Media Player 11 was installed.  When it

Let me describe my problem:
I'm running windows xp pro x64 edition
i installed wmp 11 and all works fine.

Can someone tell me how to find some .wma files that were in the Sample
Music folder on Windows XP. I accidentally deleted them. Not sure if they
are part of XP or part of Windows Media Player. I'm new to XP and mostly
lost and wandering around.

well, when I give double click on video running , I see full screen but player-bar does not disappear!

I searched on the internet and found instructions on how to start Windows
Media Player (using Version 11.0.5721.5145) and have it automatically play a

Hi, I'm trying to share my media to my 2 new 360's.  I go into MP11,
Library, click the "media sharing" box, hit OK and nothing happens.  The Ok
box goes dull for about 10 seconds, then reestablishs itself.  I hit Ok,

Had same problem with version 9 of Media Player, before upgrading tonight to
v. 11. When I select Playback speed from the video "enhancement" menus, the

 I just noticed in my Add/Remove Programs both Windows Media Player 11 and
Windows Media Format 11 with both having the same size files.
 Do I need Windows Media Format 11 installed in addition to Media Player
11?

Can someone tell me how I can take a video and save a frame as a JPEG
picture?  I accidentally took a video and now need the JPEG picture only, and
don't know how to freeze a frame and convert the picture to JPEG.

This problem appears only in my vb.net application.
My windows media player works perfect for the same file...
Any ideas? I got no idea what the problem is...

suddenly all my audio files are extremely jutterry. They do play but keep
getting stuck for half a second and then the stutter goes and it plays, then
it stutters again. Is this a virus or my player? Help would be amazing!

Hi, I am using WMP 11. When playing large WMF files (250-400 MB) and I want
to fast forward or seek forward, WMP pauses for quite a while (> 1 minute) to
continue playback. Is this a known issue or can I optimize my system or use
different player? Thanks

I like the interface of WMP11, but I have a problem with the way WMP11 runs.
It appears that everytime I open WMP11 to play something, a child program
called the Windows Media Configuration Utility (filename: setup_wm.exe) runs
with it, and connects to the net looking for updates ...

I am using ver 10 and got my Treo 680 to sync once.
Now I have 3 Palm Devices listed, all are the same.
It now will not recoginize my device or sync.
Is there a way to get rid of the multiple devices and start over?
