Seems that my WMP has lost connection to the internet. I don't know why, it happened rather suddenly. Anybody know how I can trace the cause of the problem? Thanks

I've got WinDVD on my WinXP SP2 sytem, and it works fine. Dropped a commercial DVD in the drive. WMP comes up and reads what the disk *is,* but if I try to play it... "Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because a compatible DVD decoder is not installed on your computer." ...

Subject: How to Sync only selected songs? How do you sync only selected songs from the WMP libary to the MP3 Player? I can do this easily with itunes and my ipod, but I have not found a similar functionality with WMP.

It is my impression that if I am running Vista and it is not one of the versions that comes with a DVD codec I can not watch DVDs on Windows Media Player 11? If I am wrong would someone kindly tell me where I can get a codec to make

I used to be able to stream audio and video, and I still can at my work computer. But I can't on my home computer. The only real difference is that I use AVG free softwear at home for my virus protection. Does anyone have any ideas?

Just upgraded to Vista Ultimate. Now when I try to open an audio or video file it will play the sound but will not start Media player 11. I can still maually open media player to view the item I opened, but now when I close Media player it will not stop the opened file.
