I recorded a movie (saved as a .AVI file) with the camera rotated.  I can't
seem to find a way during playback using WMP to rotate the image, is this
possible?  If so can the file be saved w/the orientation saved?

Just switched to WMP 11. I can no longer save files which I view in .wmv
format.
This always worked in WMP 10. The only choices that I get are to save it in
.mht format or just to save the video link.

Can I shuffle 500MB of my music library to a 2GB SD card that already
contains other music files like podcasts, without WMP deleting existing files?
If not, are there any solutions to this simple task?

In previous versions the left hand window pane had the option to view music
by Artist/Album.

I have tried searching for mention of this bug, but I couldn't find anything,
which seems quite strange since as far as I can tell the advanced search
feature is quite heavily broken.
This only applies to searches doen using the search box in the top right

I'm running the latest version of WMP on vista and I noticed that my 'add to
library' function is not doing anything and its no longer monitoring any
folders and wont no matter how many times I tell it to.
I read up and saw the link to rest the library which had this instruction:

Windows media player ver 11 and XP. My cds, data and/or music will not auto
start.  Was doing fine until a few days ago.....I have researched everywhere
but can not find a solution.

I use AC3Filter via directshow to matrix stereo mp3s into DD5.1, then pass
the signal to my amp using AC3 encoded spdif.  Using WMP11, anytime a song
ends and the next ones begins automatically via the playlist, the AC3Filter
is bypassed by the internal decoder and my Audigy 2 ZS ...

I have had trouble with WMP11/Vista - when playing ripped MP3s, they would
stutter and jerk - particularly on the last 10 secs of the song. Lots of
people with a new Dell computer seem to be haivng this problem. It took ages
to fix, but what worked for me was doing the following:
