In WMP, I believe any given track will not be registered as being played
until it reaches the end of the file. However, if I skip a track, I probobly
don't want to hear it again in my shuffle playlist for a long while yet. To

Hello,  I have just recently rebuilt my XP machine,  my Win Media
Player 11 plays all MPEG files but does not have sound on some,  these
used to play sound, can you please advise

I want to buy a Graphics adapter with HDMI, install it in my Windows
XP home computer, attach my Samsung Full HD TV to it, and stream my
WMV HD movies to it. Is that possible? Is it just as simple as click
on it, drag media player to my second monitor (the TV) and set it on

If I am playing some CDROM on WMP and I put in a USB memory stick, WMP
insists on searching the stick for playable files.
How do I stop it from doing this? I dont keep media files on memory sticks

When playing a clip or film it plays for 2 - 4 secs then the picture
freezes, if left alone it comes back eventually for 2 - 4 secs then freezes
again, or if I press the scroll bar it comes back straight away again for 2 -
4secs and freezes again.

WMP 10 gave me the ability to burn at 1X . The quality was perfect in playback.
WMP 11 only allows Fast, Medium or Slow. The quality seems to be lesser in
when the volume is louder . My new XP pro will not let me revert back to
Version 10. Is this a technical reality that I cannot ...

I'm very pleased with WMP 11. There's just one thing that really annoyes me.
WMP used to change the Directory folder in a particular structure:
[artist]/[album]/[filemane]
But now it refuses to do that.

After a lot of searching on the net i have managed to find a solution to this
annoying  error code C00D11B1 For those that have downloaded the wmp 11
update to find wmp does not work ,depending on what sound card you are using
,mine is realtech high def audio .

I have media player 11, and for the last month it sounds like the speakers
are blown. I received two new ones as warranty replacement, and still have
the same issue. Ran my son's Itunes, and NO problem at all. Downloaded and
reinstalled wmp 11twice, and still no luck. Any help ...

I've got windows xp and using WMP 11 and got all the recent codecs but when i
try to play .avi files WMP opens them up and only plays them for not even a
second and stops and when i try to exit out it WMP crashes. It only does this
with .avi files, someone please help

I have denied and removed the wrong XBOX360 from my media sharing list in
WMP11. Is there any way to refresh the list to get it back?

I'm capturing images off of DVDs and saving them to my hard drive.  They look
excellent on the screen.
I then upload them to SnapFish.com for 4x6 prints processing.  The prints
