Would whoever is in charge of the people who work on Media Player please
instigate a rule that all developers *must* have at least 1,000 albums
in their library and that they can only ever play/test the *last* dozen
or so?

I've read the forums but am not getting my issue resolved so hopefully
someone can help me.  I attempt to install WMP 11 and I get the error
C00D2AFB cannot complete Window Media Player 11 setup.
wmpsetup.log contains the following errors:

OK, I've Googled for a while now, and the best solution I've found for
removing dead song links from the WMP library is to delete the library
entries, and then rescan monitored folders ... basically building the
library from scratch.  And that's actually a poor solution.

My Windows Media Player 11 64x has not been functional since I
downloaded it. In fact, Windows Media Player 10 has not been working
for the last couple months. It will not play any files whatsoever, and
it keeps on giving me the C00D11B1 error message for WMP 11. For 10, it

Everytime I try to play an .avi file (movie), WMP 9 gives me the criptic error message "Windows Media Player has
encountered an unknown error".  So far I haven't had any luck figuring this out, the help files show nothing that I can
see.
Can someone give me some ideas or suggestions ...

Im using Windows XP and Window Media Player 11.I can't open Movie files (mpeg)
with the media player with error saying that not support the file type.Pls

I store wmv video on Amazon S3, and the URLs require signature.
Sometimes the signature has a special sign in it, and WMP 11 fails to
open URL. Any hint?

I just upgraded My sisters media player from 9 to 11 and it is not seeing the
cd drive.  where would I go to make it see the drive and any disk that is in

I want to play 24 bits AIFF audiofiles with windows media player v9.
The K-lite codec pack 3.70 doesn't work either. Most players play the
24 bits wav files but not the 24 bits AIFF.
