I have WinXP Home Edition, SP2.
If I receive a wmv file, through an email or skype for example, and try to
play it by double-clicking the file I get the following error message:
"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. If the file is on another

I have a big problem, i need do broadcasting with Windows Media Encoder 9 to
reproduce Live  TV Streaming, i have a Tv Tuner Hauppauge TV-PVR USB2, the
issue is that i can watch the TV, but not can hear it, i think that the PVR
is incompatible with WME.

For no apparent reason, last week MediaPlayer suddenly stopped playing
multiple songs in order - now it plays one song and stops.  It used to
automatically move to the next song, either in order or shuffled. Now,
everything has to be done manually.

I have a wmv file that has played just fine for over a year.  I use it in a
powerpoint presentation.
Suddenly it started playing jerky - the audio is fine but the video starts
and stops at random.
