Unable to burn CD's using Windows Media Player. Message says connect a
burner. I have been able to burn cd's. how do i connect to a burner. Do i
need to add a burner to my computer file?

Had a new motherboard fitted recently.
Everything is fine except no sound on video.
Using windows XP Home edition including SP3.

I understood that any songs you play using MP will be added to the player -
this does not happen for me! I play a song and it is not added )songs are
from my iTunes list). Also when I update nonoe of the songs from my iTunes

Ever since I got my new laptop, the WMP has had difficulties with what I
presume is a problem with the transition between songs. When it gets to about
10 seconds before the end of a track the audio slows down and skips for a
while before returning back to normal.

After hours of troubleshooting, I've finally managed to get my vista laptop
and XP desktop to talk to each other and can now swap files/media etc.
I would like to use my PS3 as a media centre for the two computers, and
managed this no problem with the PS3 and WMP 11 on my vista ...

I have 3 computers all with dual boot XP Pro and Vista home basic. The Vista
OS does not come with a decoder so I went out and BOUGHT Roxio CinePlayer
decoder for Vista. It is impossible to play any DVD under wmp11/vista in full
screen mode without the video output skipping ...

I am running WMP 11 with XP SP2;  I like to listen to internet radio, but
when I click the link to "more stations" the list is not there, in any genre.
I know they are there because we have another computer running WMP11 with
Vista, and they are all present and accounted for.

i find that wmp11 wont resume playback of audio files after my laptop wakes
from sleep. wmp will start playback from the beginning and i have to
manually skip. it does show the progress in the timecode but not the
progress bar... media player classic 6.4.9.1 will resume from last ...

Has anyone had a problem with volume drop-offs at the end of each track from
a ripped CD?
I'm using an HP nx9420 notebook.
FYI, iTunes does not have this problem with the same computer/CD/etc.

Hello.  I have put music on my Sansa e250 from my home PC which is Vista
Home Premium.  When I plug my Sansa into my work PC WMP only displays a
portion of the music on the Sansa. I can see all the music in Windows
Explorer.  Any idea why this might be??  Thanks much.

My old PC had Record Now which burned the file name on the disc so when
playing in my car the title appeared. Does WMP 11 do that or is there an
add-in available?

None of the buttons to adjust colour/hue/brightness/contrast on wmp 11 work,
they move when dragged but simply move back to the zero mark. How do I enable
this feature for video outputs on the screen?

I am currently ripping my CD collection to a central hard drive.  Until
yesterday I was able to put in the disc, select the "Find Album Info" tab and

WMP 11 on XP. When I connect my Sansa mp3 player I can not pull up the mp3
files already on the device. I have clicked on SYNC and then went thru the
other buttons such as Artist, Albums, Songs etc. but nothing appears. I do
not wish to sync my entire library to the player, only ...
