Windows media Player won't play MPEGs.06 Jul 2008 01:03 GMT8
Help please. This is driving me crazy.
Media Player will no longer play mpegs.  It will play WMVs.  I can play
mpegs with Nero Show Time and Quick Time, the same files that WMP
won't, so the files are okay.  Presumably the codecs needed are on my
WMP error after 6/25 updates.05 Jul 2008 23:49 GMT1
Yesterday morning at around 8:30am, Windows Update informed of a usual round
of updates from Microsoft for my system.  I let them automatically install as
normal.  I am on Windows Vista, and keep my system and programs frequently
updated.

When I try to use WMP 11 on XP to share mp3 files I get breaks in the
music whenever my computer opens a program.  This does not appear to
be a problem with my network or playback device (d-link 320) or indeed
with resources on my computer.

Does anyone know if it's possible for WMP11 to rename underlying MP3

MP3 file underlying that same library track.
