Can anyone tell me why I can play the radio over the internet with no
problems but when I put a DVD into the WMP 11 I can see the video but hear no
sound?? This has to be a simple setting issue but I am buggered if I know
where to look... Please help! Any suggestions welcome. :0) ...

I just installed the Windows Media Player 11 so that I could syncronize my
mobile phone with my computer, but every time I try to do it my computer just
recognizes the device as a camera. You would expect the WMP to throw in a
message telling you that the device is connected, but ...

I want to play on WMP11 protected audiobook files that I download from the
local public library.  WMP is supposed to automatically request the requisite
license.  However, when I try to load the audiobook in WMP11, I get the
following message:

I've tied multiple times to update the albums in my library and nothing is
working, I"ve updated the library, cleared the temporary files and have
downloaded the plug in and still nothing is working. the small update screen
pops up and then stops showing only a grey screen.

i have recently installed realplayer in order to watch some videos which i
couldn't watch on WMP.  i found out that all i needed was Quick time and
decided to uninstall RPlayer.  And now i can't restore how WMP worked before.

I can share files between my Vista laptop and XP desktop, so I know the

to have Real Player and I'd like to transfer my old files into my library of

Are there any useful tools to accompany WMP 11 available either from Microsoft or 3rd parties.  To help clarify, I'm looking for utilities and/or tools to assist me in fully utilizing WMP 11.  I am aware of the "Tools" item on the main menu.
