New problem and it drives me crazy. Anytime I try to open a folder that
contains wmv files it crashes explorer.exe. If I ignore it and play the video
it will play fine but I eventually have to acknowledge it. Could this be a
bad codec?

I can hear the sound track of mpeg's ..no vidieo.
Classic player is the same and so is divx.
I understand it is related to codecs.
I have downloaded from K-Lite but not sure where to put them etc.

Have Vista Home Premium and Office 2007.  Cant watch BBC i-player etc. in
full screen. Screen is black, only get audio. If change setting to 16 bit
then ok, but picture quality poor. Any ideas?
