I am having problems getting sound from the MOD video files from my JVC video
recorder. On some computers it is fine, but on mine at home it is showing

I have a prog called BitComet which converts .flv files (from Youtube etc)
into Vista Windows Media Player format, so that I can edit them later in
MovieMaker.
BitComet allows me to convert the files into .avi format, or .wmv, or mp3 or

When I use Media 11 to play a dvd, the volume is so  low I have to strain to
hear.  This occurs with both system volume and media volume set to max.  
If I play music files the vol, while still low, is acceptable....

I have a Dell  Dimension E520 and want to hook a cassette player to inputs
on back of tower.  Problem is there is nothing marked.
