WMP 11 option pane21 Jul 2008 10:47 GMT4
When I open my option pane I cannot see the right hand side of the
information in any of the tabs. The pane does not appear to have any way of
resizing. Has anyone got any ideas as to how to fix this.

When I try to listen to investor conference calls on Yahoo Finance, there is
no sound.
I am using Media Player 11.0.5721.5230
I am using Windows XP professional.

So far I like WMPlayer 11.  I was a MusicMatch user for years until
Yahoo got ahold of it.  I've been searching ever since for something to
replace it but so far nothing comes close.  WMP seems to have potential.
I would like to be able to make a column that lists the artist next to

I've looked "all over the net" but have not seen my type of problem with
WMP11 and VISTA Home Premium.
When I try to start WMP, or open a file which uses WMP, I get the following

Cannot Rip Music From CD21 Jul 2008 10:22 GMT1
I have Windows XP and windows media player 11 and everytime i insert a cd no
matter if it is one I have previously ripped or a new one it tells me cannot
rip one or more tracks from the CD. What is wrong and can I fix it?
Quicktime breaks WMP21 Jul 2008 10:18 GMT1
Quicktime comes with ITunes, after it is installed it takes over WMP.  When
you click on an mpg video in IE after Quicktime has been installed and you
have now changed MPG videos to open with WMP (instead of quicktime), WMP
doesn't play the streaming mpg video anymore like it did ...
How can I get lyrics to show in WMP 11 when playing .kar files?21 Jul 2008 10:17 GMT1
I have tried the Karatron plugin, I have set the "Play" menu to show lyrics
if available and I still can't get WMP to show the lyrics for .kar files.  
These are midi karaoke files.  I have no problem playing .kar files snd
seeing the lyrics with HP Quick Play or Apple Quick Time, ...

I have ripped a CD and moved to the burn list.  When I click on the songs,
they play from the burn list.  However, when I insert a blank cd the burn
list still shows 79:57 minutes remaining and doesn't recognize the songs.  I
have used this set of disks to successfully burn many ...

i just formatted my computer and now when i try to add my videos to my
library it hangs and stops. task manager shows it running at 99 percent but
not doing anything. this happens with external and internal hard drives.

I am trying to update the media information for a CD I am burning.  I can
find the information but it is greyed out and when you hit next for it to
update it just doesn't update. Can anyone help

How do I set Media Player 11 so that when I open it, it automatically starts
on the Now Playing page, and at whatever song it last was playing?  I was
able to do it in MP10, but now that I've upgraded, whenever I open it, it's
in the Library tab.

I had a ton of songs to delete, and I turned off the prompt before deleting
songs asking if you are "Sure you want to delete this song?" now I want to
turn it back on so I don't delete songs without noticing. How do I do this?

When I select multiple media-files in a Windows Explorer, and press the enter
button, WMP only opens one of the files, while it should create a new
playlist with all selected files. I couldn't find anything in the options
that could help this. It started after installing WMP 11. ...
