automatic ripping is unchecked.  I have executed (virtually) all permutations

I just got a new computer with Windows 7 and whatever version of Media
Player is included.  When I try to play .avi videos that I made in
Movie Maker on another computer, they drag and stutter and are totally

Enabling DSP plugin in WMP12 fails to repeat playing a media file26 Feb 2010 03:54 GMT1
I created a video dsp plugin by VS 2005 and MS SDK 6.1.
It can be registered in WMP12 (windows 7) and working fine.
However, when I click stop and click play to re-start playing a media file,
WMP always returns with error "Can not process the request".
XP can see 7 but 7 can't see XP25 Feb 2010 16:33 GMT2
Both computers have media sharing on. Windows 7 can see my Xbox and visa
versa. Windows XP can see Windows 7 and the Xbox, but neither Windows 7 nor
the Xbox can see Windows XP.

Well I got it to work on Vista by just doing this command
regsvr32 ir50_32.dll
I tried this on Win 7 but no luck yet
If any one has any ideas for Win 7 let me know

Hello.........
I recently purchased a Canon DC420 camcorder and use a Video Converter which
works fine.  The problem is the playback speed on WMP.  It is way too fast
and can't seem to get the speed acceptable.  When I use the speed settings
