Why will Windows Media Player no longer recognize my portable devices?  I
have Windows Vista.

i have a motorola ROKR and when i hook up my phone (via USB) and click on
refresh devices in the sync tab... nothing happens. wmp doesn't recognise my
phone at all.

Recently, my Windows Media Player (on Windows Vista SP1) started acting
weirdly.  When I play video files, the image is 'shaking'.  Instead of
showing the video smoothly, the image 'jerks' back and forth.
I've tried with multiple video files but they're all the same.  Wmv, mpg,

I'm using Media Player 11 to manage my music.  I just got a Curve and want to
sync Media Player with it.  I can sync the songs, but the playlists don't
transfer.  My Curve is using the v4.5 Blackberry OS.  Any suggestions?

When I start my computer, WMP 11 starts in the background for an unknown
reason.  You can see the process "wmplayer.exe" running in task manager on
startup.  It does not start as a background process however in Safe Mode.  
Also, inside the program, it can never follow through ...

I just added an external drive to my library. Every time I add to library it
makes a double of every single song in all libraries now. How do I stop it
from doing that?

I have WMP 11 for Vista Home Premium and when I add songs from an external
