I have wmp7 installed, but I've never used it. I don't know where to look for any information about what WMP does. Should I buy a book, or is there free basic documentation somewhere. Should I upgrade to WMP9 ?

I've recently deleted one of my playlists and now I've got all my songs that I deleted stuck under the File option and just below Work Offline. Since I can't even use them anymore, they're just taking up space now.

Perhaps an idle question, perhaps not? I am just curious that there does not appear to be a way to remove Windows Media player under Add/Remove programs, nor could I find any articles in Technet.
