I have WMP 9 running on a XP computer.  When I log in, it
automatically launches.  how do i stop this?  Thanks

Hi. I installed a codec pack from Elisoft in order to play some divX
files among other things. It installed both codecs and filters. Since
it was taking up so much space I decided to uninstall the codec pack
and then just install whichever codecs I need. However, when I

I am having difficulties with streaming video on Windows
Media Player 7 on Windows 98 on a Pentium IV computer. The
play begins but after a short while the buffer seems to

I've been having issues...  I have a Sony Vaio PCG-
FX250K.  When I'm watching DVDs on my laptop, the audio
is extremely quiet compared to other formats like MP3 and
CDs. Any ideas?

I am unable to view any streaming videos using Media Player

Okay, I want to start ripping my CDs so I can put them
onto a portable music player.  the thought of having all
my music in one place is actually pretty exciting.
So, my question is to all of you:

I am not getting sound when I play videos on windows media
player, and I clicked on a test link and it said to
install a sound device or sound card. How do I do that?

I don't know why and when, but today I minimized my WMP9
and it does not turn to "mini-mode" anymore, although I
already checked "Windows Media Player" in my Taskbar ->
Toolbars.
