after i installed media player 9 and run it and restarted
my computer, i can not get media player to open or do
anything. what have i done wrong?  please help

I have downloaded the critical for this media player 17
times, but it doesn't stay downloaded. I keep getting the
critical update message, and when I go to the update site,
it is the critical update for the Media Player 7.1 again.

Why do I get distorted audio with WMP9 but when I play
the same file with Quicktime it's clean and clear?
