A week or so ago, I down loaded WMP9.  Since the upgrade,
I haven't been able to open archived files from a radio
talk show that I listen to.  I keep getting the following
error message...

Need help on characters show in play list.  I was playing
some Chinese songs in my XP Media Player 9.  One of my PC
shows the actual Chinese characters on the play list.  My
second PC does not.  All it shown was some square boxes.

This is WMP9 on a W98SE. It is playing well ... but it is taking too
long to start to play local files.
Every time I go to Files - Open and select a mp3 files it freezes for
25-30 sg. at message "Opening media". After this time, it sounds well.

I have noticed that a lot of people are reporting getting
this error code.  I have been getting too.  I think it
means that Windows Media Player is crap and it's time to
get something else.

I am trying to find out how to delete file headings that
are listed in the file menu. I have deleted the files but
the headings still remain. When I click on a file heading
a message says the file can't be found, Windows needs to

I just downloaded Media Player, and cannot switch to full
mode...the option is grayed out when I click on the "view"
button from the toolbar.  
any ideas on how I can access full mode?

Can someone tell me how to prevent Windows Media 9 from

the full mode option on my media player is always grayed
out, and so I no ability to access my media library.  Have
tried reinstalling, and have checked into application
settings as well, with no luck.

I am trying to copy some songs onto a portable MP3 player
