I have Windows Media Player 9.  I've never been able to
get the thing to work, and suspect it's causing all kinds
of damage to other parts of the system.  That's by the

why would full screen visualization stop when the song
changes? every time the song changes full screen
visualization ends and now playing screen appears.

i am using wmp6.4 before, after i tried to play avi file,
wmp download codec automatically. after it told me error
in downloading codec, mpg,mpeg,dat files cannot be played

I have a problem only with Quicktime (.mov) movies having
jitter in both sound and picture, seemingly on a regular 1
sec. interval.  All other movie players work without
jitter (Windows Media, Real One, DivX).   (XP Pro SP1,
