Help, please... On a fairly good WinXP system, I have Win Media Player 9, and I'm guessing that this is a really simple question... I've downloaded a tune in .wpl and .wav formats, and I want to copy / convert either one so that it will play on a regular portable CD

I seem to have lost the standard built-in system codecs (or at least they were unregistered form usage) like the Microsoft Corp ADPCM (tag 2) codec. WMP also doesn't seem to be able to get them from MS server. Is there ANY possibility to reinstall them from OS cd's or get them ...

Recently switched from from 7 to 9 on a XP machine. Most of what I watch is live horse racing, the picture was good with 7 but with 9 the picture looks as if there is a sheet of water in front it (blurry). Any suggestions? Thanks,J
