bought a cd of some really fun music, and I want to add it
to the playlist. Which is impossible, as far as I know.

this has never happened to me before
i open an mp3 file to play it. it begins playing. i "x" out the file BUT the audio keeps playing. this is not how it normally works.  what is going on?
the only way to stop it is to re-open that particular file and click "stop", then "x" out.

i got this message C00D11CD when i tried to play my audio
file in Media Player. The file had a certain song, but
when i gave it to my friend he replaced the file with

I have been trying to play a file called South Park The Movie.asf
And it keeps saying that it needs a codec. It plays and then puts out NO

For some reason now I can't play any streaming videos. I'll go to www.musicvideos.com to play a video and all i get is a blank screen with the controls along the top.  I could play any videos fine about 2 weeks ago, then suddenly it stopped working. Does any one have any ideas?

How do I add files off my network to my Media Library?  When I "Add" and
"Search" the network folder, the number of files surges, then drops to zero.
It completes the search with 0 files found.
I must be missing something basic here...

I was trying to listen to a radio station live (http://www.jackfm.com) but WMP gives me an error message Cood1197.  I have gone through the WMP suggestions to no avail.  I am running WinXP Pro with a P3.  Any ideas?  Thanks.
