when I wanted  to play a film with Windows Media Player.It showed that there is error.The message is "You've encountered error message C00D11CD while using Windows Media Player. "What shall I do?Pls help me ,Many thanks

Running XP Professional - Media Player 9.00.00.3075 - It can ID tracks on the CD perfectly, but will only skip through tracks once and then stop when I press "Play".

Have rarely complained about microsoft but forcing us to pay for a plugin so we can copy our CD's into media player in MP3 format takes the cake!  Still have media player 7 and thinking about rolling back

I have MPEG-4 files that won't open on Windows Media
Player. The error message says, "Windows media Player"
cannot play the file. The file is either corrupt or the

Anytime I attempt to open a URL to media (_any_ format),
WMP 7.1 and 9 disappears off the screen (Some sort of
crash). This also happens when it's called from a WebPage.
I don't have this problem when I specify the URL with

when I download these I attempt to open them and the error
message 'class not registered' appers. I have looked at
the file type settings and not sure what the problem is.
Cannot find any other players which will play them either.

Before, when I shut down Windows, my computer automatically shut off.  I don't what happened, or what I did, but now I have to manually shut it off.  Can I get the automatic feature back somehow?
