If I want to play a file on WMP on the internet, like if I want to play a video or listen music, it will start to load up but all it shows is the word ready and it won't do anything else, what can I do.

I keep getting critical updates for Media Player Script Commands (KB828026), but I would like to remove Windows Media Player because I use Real Player. I went into Settings, Control Panel to remove it. I also removed it by unchecking the box with the XP CDRom.

This question relates to the other I posted about today, concerning WMA-ACM. Is it possible somehow to save an WMA file so it looks like a WAV file, with the WAV extension, recognized by programs as a WAV file, but compressed with WMA9 compression?
