windows meadia player keeps opening when I turn my
computer on. Can anyone tell me how to stop this??????

I have ntl broadband, but every time i try to open Windows Media Player it
tries to dial a modem connection.  I cannot remove it and it is driving me
insane.  Unless I can find a way I am going to have to buy a new computer.  
It is so intolerable..utterly and completely ...

Is there a way to have WMS not send the link to the
location of the content stored on the server?  When you
click on file->properties, you get the location of the
content.

Is it possible to have an embedded media player with visualizations?
If so, can anyone point me to an example?
I'd like to put a player in a webpage, point the url to a stream, and
display the default visualization.

I am currently using Windows 98 with Media player 7.1 to
transfer MP3 and WMA files to a portable MP3 player.
Everything works as expected except for one small detail.
By default, WMP transfers all MP3's to the device, however

I have recorded with pocket PC CE which files it in notes.
When synching with my PC the recording ends up in Outlook as a note and
plays well on my PC.
I can forward the note to other people but they can not access the recording

plays it as a audio file.
