I am a HUGE fan of wmp and it has been my player of choice for years and
years now, however, i have been consistently disspointed with the shuffle
songs feature of the player - i mean its jus bad.

There are a couple of real drawbacks to the recent upgrade to WMP 10:
- You can no longer drag items within a playlist to re-order them. You can
right-click and select 'Move Up' or 'Move Down' but no dragging. This is a
real pain and is a step backward from a feature that was ...

I am trying to find album info for 2 albums in windows media player, but for
some reason, the albums will not come up, no matter what i use to search for
it.  What is strange, is that these albums are both 2 discs, and I have no
problem finding Disc 2 of the album, just cannot ...

Well... this error seems to happen every time I play any file. The audio
skips, cuts, accellerates, decellerates, and rapidly cuts in and out
throughout the songs, and videos, nearly constantly. The problem isn't my
sound-card, because the progress bar for playing media skips ...

When I develop a custom visualization and run it under WMP9, I found that WMP
displays the title and album on the window and takes up real estate.  It
happens only in wondowed mode and not in full-screen and skin mode.  How do I

I was using WMA 9 and everything was working just fine. Even my DivX movies
worked just fine. However, after upgrading to WMA10, I tried to play a movie
file and it said that there was an error playing the file, the codec failed
to download as well. After which I rolled back to ...

They removed on top when in skin mode...now its always on top...
hopeless when u want a small window when working

HOW DO I KNOW IF I HAVE WMP 10?  I'M NEW TO THIS.  PLEASE HELP!

Can I play Xvid files on Win media Player....I have just
installed the latest version but a coupe of Xvids I tried

 I have the original windows media player that came with Windows XP a couple
of years ago. When ever I start my computer or reboot the media player opens
up. How do I prevent this from happening so that it will open only when I
want it to?

With my WinXP Home and Windows Media 10 I cannot play an mpeg-2 file, Media
says I need a codec but it cannot find it.
Where can I get the codec?

Does anybody know if in the near, near future WMP 10 would be available on MS
Windows 98SE?
