There are a few media player selections that freeze up my computer, Others play just fine, Any help is appreciated.

Whenever I try to play a streaming media clip (on an internal network), the video gets about 15 seconds in and then an error message comes up, shortly after which the player freezes. The Error Module info is: AppName: wmplayer.exe AppVer: 10.0.0.3646 ModName: wininet.dll

It take hours for me to copy audio CDs to my hard drive. I had WMP 9 series and copy speed was ok. I downloaded WMP 10 beta and the problem began. I have reverted to WMP 9 again but the problem has remained. Can anyone help?

color harmony is really awfull in media player 10 by default, blue background - bright white text , and permanent blue playerbody and text background ... although color chooser get some choice , it change the color of player and menu and background together ...

I've installed codecs or DirectShow filters to play .ogg, .ra, .rm, .mpc and .mov files with WMP9 I've already found how to enable the file-open menu, drag & drop, etc... (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Player\Extensions)

Hi all (sorry to repost but thought I should as it wasnt titled properly) A friend of mine has been using windows media player 9 for quite a while and has been really enjoying using it. However, recently, he's had a problem with it.

Tried to solve my problem ( error code 00040258 ) by changing Hardware Acceleration. But audio window would not allow be to click "advance" as it was ghosted out. Any ideas ???

I have burned music with Media Player 9 and NEVER had any issues! Now there seems to be a burning error that I can't seem to figure out in Player 10! =( Nothing has changed on my PC except the player.
