So i have a PC, and lots and lots of songs.  Created lots of sorts/lists to
my songs. So many songs and so many sorts, that i filled the hard drive
so, i bought a new hard drive
how do i move the songs AND the sorts/lists to the new drive. moving files

WMP Maximizes off screen18 Oct 2004 21:03 GMT1
A wierd problem. Every version of WMP maximizes off
screen to the right so that no part of the programme is
visible on screen. This happens on both WMP9 and WMP10. I
have uninstalled and reinstalled both versions and the

i recently downloaded mp3 songs from the net. One of the songs i downloaded
plays 192k/ per sec and the other one at about 24k/ per sec. The quallity of
sound of the 24k/ per sec is poor.
I would like to know if there is a way to change the saved music to higher

I backed up all my music on a DVD R disc about 3.2G
I have had to reinstall win XP and I want to transfer all the music to the
my music file, I am finding difficulty in achieving this.

I have just installed WMP 9 and as soon as I open it, it seems to disappear
off to the right of the screen never to be seen again. Any suggestions?

I am running Windows Media Player 9.00.99.2980.  Whenever I try to open a
video file in it, it freezes after claiming that it's opening for about 15
minutes.  There is no error screen, no windows alert sounds, nothing.  Any
suggestions?

I am very happy about windows media 10 and its features, but it will not
recognize my player.  I do see that it is not on the list of compatible
devices, but how can I find out if there are any plans to make it compatible?

I recently had to re-format my hard drive and re-install everything.
After I re-installed WMP v10, I found that i can no longer view album info.
Previously, when I clicked on the "More Info" tab it would connect to
metaservices.windowsmedia.com and display album info but now it's ...

I am having troubles with ASX files.
I have a WMV file on a web server and I want to be able to
have a ASX file that works with that WMV file. I have tried

i find that when I sort on any particular column in WMP 10, the alternating
rows turn to grey and white which make it very difficult to see every other
line item....    I have tried to change this in options and settinsg and even

Specifically, I can no longer hear the sound from Cyberlink PowerDVD (a much
better program for playing DVD's than WMP.)  And the sound from a trialware
metronome program I tried is disabled as well.
What is the solution for this?  I think I installed without the option to

When i minimize my mediaplayer10 is appears like this in bottom of the screen.
I guess its a plug in, a skin or something ive downloaded that makes it show
like this, or is it?

i got the error code 8FFF0106 when i tried to play a cd (burned) with my
windows media player.
i dunno what's the matter 'cause i'd just finished playing another cd (the
same type of burned disc) and it hadn't messed up on that one at all, so
