I want to ask how to deploy the codec 9 for the media player 7.1 in the
network.  I find that the deployment package download is a "exe" files and
need to answer some questions.   How can I installl this in silent mode?

In late 2004 I was able to play my one and only DVD on investing in my pc.
Now when I try to view it its not possible because some decoder is missing.

I have a strange problem here, on our Media Server. I created a asx file and
tried running it in Media Player 10 on my workstation (XP Prof.), the error I
get is the following "C00D1197: Cannot play the file".
But now the strange thing, trying to play it in mplayer2.exe works ...
